Yes, actually I am aware of the lack of data concerning saliva thyroid testing.

The only reason I felt it might be at least somewhat accurate is because I am

still losing hair on four grains, and I knew there must be a problem. Although

it is possible to lose hair because of iron, female hormones, adrenal issues,

etc. - - I have only experienced hair loss when I am hypo. Even when my

ferritin was 10 in the past, my hair was still alright. I have also had adrenal

issues in the past, but never experienced severe hair loss until I was hypo.

Adequate thyroid hormone always eliminated the hair problems before. So,

although lots of people question its validity, I thought maybe it coincided with

what I was experiencing symptom-wise. I also put weight on very easily, etc.

This is just a guess on my part.

Val, here are my saliva cortisol results . . . I just want to make sure you

think Isocort is a possible solution in my case. If so, I'll order it today!

Thanks!
