Respected Forum,

The Public Health Foundation of India will, shortly, be launching three

Diploma Programs namely:

Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management at Gandhinagar

Post graduate Diploma in Biostatistics and Data Management at Hyderabad

Post Graduate Diploma in Health Economics and Policy at New Delhi

The Public Health Foundation of India is a 2 year old initiative, uniquely

designed as a sustainable response to redress the severe shortfall of public

health professionals needed in government, private sector and the large and

rapidly expanding civil society sector.

PHFI is in the process of establishing 3 Institutes of Public health education

and training at Hyderabad, Gandhinagar and Delhi. These institutes are expected

to become the nodal points for implementing the PHFI mandate of providing public

health education, research and advocacy and build capacity by providing quality

training to graduates from diverse disciplines.

There is now a wide spread consensus on the merits of overall health system

strengthening including well trained and qualified human resources, for

achieving our goals in improving health as well as controlling even those

diseases such as AIDS, TB and Malaria that continue to be supported largely

through vertical programs.

A well qualified multidisciplinary team of professionals, with knowledge and

skills in diverse fields as data management, applied biostatistics, health

management and economic evaluation would be an asset for the different sectors

involved with implementing projects and programs

For greater details please visit the PHFI website at www.phfi.org

Thanking you
