The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago has partnered with Cerner

Corporation based out of Kansas City. RIC was the software designer for

Cerner's Rehabilitation Application. The software supports post acute

rehabilitation including Outpatient and Day Rehabilitation. This system

is a fully integrated system and was designed to reduce redundancy,

increase efficiency, meet regulatory standards, and report outcome data.

Interested organizations can email me for further information.

Thank you.

Subject: Re: Inpatient Rehab Electronic Documentation

Hi ,

Of the ones you've mentioned below, only MediServe is specifically for

rehab. They've got some cool stuff for IRF's and Ouptatient. We had

Meditech and it (like the others I think) was a hospital wide solution

that wasn't really designed for us. It was a painful process

developing the screens that we needed and it added to the time we

spent documenting. I'd love to hear others thoughts on this. I think

there are some others out there like Raintree and Chartlinks, but I

don't think their IRF products are as strong.

Hope my 2 cents help.
