Hi...I'm Carmen, I live in SC. I've posted a couple of times and

really appreciate all the great responses and advice. You've helped me

to make my decision and to feel confident going into surgery. Being an

RN, I see the best and the worst. Ignorance is bliss,,,that's what my

surgeon says anyways. I guess better to be " informed " when going into

this major decision. I do have a couple more questions though.

I started the 10 day pre op diet today which is really just a couple

of protein shakes and very low fat low carb meals. I'm worried that I

won't understand what to do afterwards. Guess I better reread the info

I got at the class. How long would you say the average recovery is? I

would like to get back to work and life as soon as possible. Thanks
