Guest guest
I got them at the Ft GNC, in Tacoma Washington. It may be cheaper there due to it being on a Military base. We still had to pay sales tax though. Sara
Guest guest
Hello Luke and , Im about 5 weeks post surgery myself. I was very weak and tired for the first two weeks, and in general felt nauseous much of the time. I would have some spells where I felt a bit shaky, but I dont think that I had a day that I suddenly felt much weaker than before. Make sure she is taking her vitamins and peeing at least 4 times a day. Does she have any additional pain or discomfort, any sign of fever? Im not a professional by any means, but at this point unless she is so weak she can't get up at all I'd say keep an eye on her, lots of rest and lots of fluids. Hang in there, the first week is the worst. Once she turns that corner (so to speak) it gets better everyday. Guest guest
Luke/, I seem to have a lot more energy. Especially now almost two weeks out. But I do have to keep hydrated. I got a little light headed at the YMCA last week and still sometimes get a little weak. What I've been experiencing is getting really tired after eating a " full " meal of a protein shake or a couple packs of the chicken soup. I'm going to check with the PA this Thursday (first appointment too). I've cheated and had some fat free cottage cheese and a slice of fat free processed cheese. I'm basically sick of the PROTI shakes. Can't she/you just call the PA or MMPC and get them to call you back with a recommendation as to what to do? The nurses and stuff at MMPC have been real good about getting back to me the same day as I call. I do hope feels better. I slept a lot my first few days. Maybe she just needs to sleep/rest more. I hate the phrase that everyone is different but maybe she does just need to rest a little more. In other news: I bought two flavors of ISOPUR from GNC today, Blue Raspberry and Alpine Punch. Both are fantastic. However, GNC charged $3.50 for each except there was some sort of " BOGO " discount that brought them to $5.25 for the two of them. I'm pretty sure I can do better than that online. 40g of Protein is crazy especially for that great taste. Guest guest
Hi Luke, The weakness can be normal, everyone is different. What concerns me more is that she is pale. If you can check her blood pressure, pulse & temp at home, I would do so and call the dr and see what he says. Please keep us posted and I will continue to keep you both in my prayers. Guest guest
I am so sorry I am behind on posts. How is feeling? Anyone heard? I did not experience weekness. I am tired this week because of the move, but taking my vitamins should help with that. I start 4 new vitamins this week. Shauna Best wishes !! lisa_mi_27 wrote: Hello all, This is 's fiance Luke once again. , as you all know came home last Saturday from having successful surgery. Everything has been going well. Guest guest
haha, well I had not choice. I do not know anyone really out here yet. Most of the work was done by my sister and her friends, but I still had other stuff to do. I'm good though. Getting back into the grove. theodore aloyisious wrote: i knew i just knew it!!!!! :-0 you overdid didnt you?! what was the last thing i told you ?? huh huh huh?? nah i aint really bithin...;-) just hope you feel stronger real soon.... :-D TODD > Hello all, > This is 's fiance Luke once again. , as you all know came > home last Saturday from having successful surgery.
