" a good thing! this means your loosing! " that thothought helps once in awhile, but not while im blowdrying my hair and my arsm are flapping in the breeze! lol the walking still is a problem for me. i have to really force myself to get on the treadmill just for 30 minutes. ive actually been pretty laxed about it. BUT.......... i do do a pilated ball 5x a week! trust me its great and donst feel like excersiceat all! i get on the floor during my favorite tv shows and just go to town. some times i even do it at work w/ my clients! i have noticed that i have better muscle control, balance and posture (skin not tighting too much now, but they say will eventulally). also, on carnie willson site, i heard people talk about " support garments " so im going to start wearing a courset type one to help belly skin! good luck! xoxoxoxoxox Diedre 231/178/130 >
Guest guest
Just wanted to say hi, and introduce myself. My name is Angie, Im married with two kids and two stepkids, I live in Iowa and I had my bypass surgery on Dec 29th. Doing pretty good so far, but of course I have lots of questions. I've heard alot of conflicting info on when to start adding new foods. I've been eating scrambled eggs and tuna salad all along, in fact they gave it to me in the hospital. The I read that right now Im supposed to still be on a pureed diet. I've eaten ground beef and turkey, no problems. If its digesting ok should I not worry, or will it end up hurting me in the long run? Also, Im worried about losing my hair. I've heard alot about how common that is. I have long hair and must admit that Im rather vain about it. Any way I can either prevent or minimize the hair loss? Im sure I'll plenty more questions, but I think that will do for now. Thanks much, and I'll look forward to getting to know everyone. Angie / Iowa girl

Guest guest
i went to the smoothie king where i get my smoothies and calcium and told them my hair was brittle and falling out and they sold my a multivitamin called HAIR, SKIN & NAILS. -- Re: Hello --- hi angie and welcome! im 3 months out this thursday. my sugeron had mon clear liquids for 3 weeks, then puree for another 3 weeks. the first 3 were tough even to get liquids down. trust me you wont want to even think of food yet!i lived on broth and ice pops/fudgeclces. by the pureed stage, i wanted " real " food.i would have a bite of my husbands food once in awhile. it truley depends on what your new pouch can handle. u may not belive it now but, you'll be nervous of what you want to try :0 as far a hair............i was terrified about loosing my hair. (im a part time hairdresser) i was noticing alot on my clothes or in the shower drain. what i did was wash it every other day & extra conditioner. i started to blowdry/style less and now...3months out, my hair has never been healther! not even as a kid!no loss at all anymore and honestley, i was the only one noticing the hair loss. very very very good products to use is " dove " . since my surgery, i use everything dove shampoo, condition, styling products, body wash, & mosturisers. THERE AWSOME! unfortunly they dont make a excess skin vanisher lol, my next TERROR! xoxoxoxoxox Diedre 231/177/130 10/19/2005 We are a very active support group.
