Regards, I am a new comer, Hi Everyone: I am and I have a brother that is a diabetic. His doctor doesn't seem to be able to get his sugar under control, so Cy, told me about this list and thought I would join, and try to learn, so I can give my brother and mom info that I learn. Oh, I am totally blind. What and when was his last A1C? Does he have any health problems besides diabetes? I believe we can help him, but this is entirely on his willingness and his ability to hear. Many receive advice. The question is this is how is his mental health? Quite often when people are unhappy they eat. Does he eat when he is unhappy? I'm a lurker so you won't hear much from me. Every one in this group is very nice and friendly and know a lot about diabetes so I know you will learn a lot here. Take care. My husband isn't and is just trusting his Doctor and the person in the office who is trained to work with diabetics.
