Guest guest
Dee, What condition have you used the testosterone for? Thanks, Susie
Guest guest
I checked out the site and am suspicious because they would not divulge the percentage of testosterone in the lotion. Seems a little shady to me. Also if contains a reasonable amount of testosterone I wonder why it also includes DHEA. I think I will try DHEA because it is a precursor to testosterone and has been through several trials. But thanks anyhow, Dee. Incidentally did you read College Pharmacy's website under " research articles " (on the research page, click on " all articles " . It appears that they are pointing us to another website which sells a product which they themselves compound. Did you check out their links? It seems that they are somehow connected with others who enhance their services. Sorry - I'm just the suspicious type. Ora >HI Suzy and all. > >Since 'I " added the natural Testosterone (prescription) and felt that it did strengthen and toughen up that new tissue rebuilt by the Estrace ( I added it on the 4th month of my 'slow' healing of only having used the Estrace initially) I wanted to send this on If someone wanted to try it, but perhaps couldn't get a prescription, they 'might' want to try this for what it's worth. > > It's called Libido Lotion (this IS actual nat. Testosterone > ><a href= " http://www.sexualitysite.com/ " >Click here</a> > >I called talked to them and it IS the natural testosterone (with DHEA) and it is compounded by COLLEGE PHARMACY (a great compounding pharmacy and where 'I' get my prescription from tho mine does not have DHEA) and can be ordered thru the internet without a prescription which I was amazed to find, (they do have you fill out a pseudo questionaire on your health) . $46.00 but that includes the S & H. They did not give me the % of Testosterone, I know mine is 2% thru reg. prescription and same price, so I'm assuming this is the same. Nice to know I can get it here, if I ever switched doctors and one wouldn't give it to me, <grin> > >By the way I'm not promoting this for anyone until they've checked it out themselves or talked with their physicians, I just know it's worked wonders for me, brought me back to my normal libido and levels and by the way works for the men as well, but it was more for the healing of that tissue in addition to the Estrace. PLUS NO side effects and I've used it now for over 2 1/2 years! Just benefits! LOL 'it's a nice white creamy type almost like a lotion in a tube, (at least mine is) and disappears with just a small dab, no burning either or 'stickyness or gooeyness'... like those with Vaseline bases. > >Hugs >Dee~ >PS a couple of gals wrote that tried it and they said it seems the same as what I get prescriptionwise and so far is working. >

If is very powerful stuff!! I myself have too much DHEA naturally and yet not enough testosterone??? Strange. DHEA may bring on certain cancers I have read. Be sure and research it well before using it. Lynn
Guest guest
I checked it pretty extensively before I started taking it a couple of days ago and it seems that as long as one does not go over 50 mg. daily, they are safe. However I had bought some of it a couple of years and never took any because there was a lot of bad stuff on the Net about it. I feel reasonably confident that small doses will be all right. I am only taking 10 mg. a day. Ora > >> I checked out the site and am suspicious because they would not >divulge the >> percentage of testosterone in the lotion. Seems a little shady to >me. Guest guest
Another thing that had me wondering is that " Libido Lotion " is not available anywhere except through that website. Ora >HI Ora and all, > >Yep, I'm like you too, 'suspicious' haha Usually anyway, and I did see that on College Pharacy's site ( the connecting link) which did surprise me. (Ironically I found it backwards) That's why I called personally and I did speak to the doctor from the 2nd site, who does the prescribing. But as I said I got the ingredients but not the dosage amt, but then again to 'me', that's typical since 'that' site is NOT a pharmacy I suppose. (remember they're selling it as a 'LIbido Lotion " . I even told him the whole story of how I use it and for what purpose, But I suppose it's having to with 'trade secrets' maybe? > >Also I thought maybe the DHEA was added because the T amt. or dosage was lower since it's 'almost' 'over the counter' the way it's able to be purchased. But still thought even if it's a milder form that if " I " could no longer get my reg. prescription from a doc or if I changed Docs that I'd give that a try, better than none. haha.. but that's me. Plus what impressed 'me', is that it WAS College PHarmacy that prepared it for them and not some fly by night company. > >I too know that DHEA is a precursor but I could not use the oral as it stimulated my breasts too much and tried it several times with rest periods inbetween but got the same results, and the problem is (to me) once again that taking anything internally even the HRT (as my levels were good at the time) just does not seem to work directly on the genitals and why it was only when the creams were appplied directly that they did work. And I don't think I've ever seen a DHEA cream, but then again maybe there is one. If you or anyone finds a 'cream' form of DHEA let me know, that would be interesting to try I would think. > >But like you, I agree it's always good to be cautious. >Thanks for the input Ora, it's appreciated. > >Dee~

Guest guest
I am concerned because so many of those products contain added Vitamin E, to which I am allergic. Also if it contains estrogen it might duplicate the estrace action. I am surprised they do not tell what is in it besides testosterone and DHEA. It seems that Dr. Ostman created the product, hired College Pharmacy to formulate it and hired sexualitysite to market it. At any rate if it REALLY needs a prescription it seems that their procedure for " examining the patient " is a little lax. It basically results in selling it OTC. Ora >Good point again Ora, I'm assuming they (libido lotion site) have an exclusive set up with College Pharmacy to compound it for them, so of course it's not something that's just made up and could be sold anywhere since it is compounded by College Pharmacy. See what I mean? > >Not a generic product or pre produced or packaged in quanity but individually made up one at a time as an order is called in. And not like those Viagara for women, or Via Cremes, that are everywhere and pretty useless (in my opinion) In other words a 'Broker' for the product. Make sense? >Dee
Guest guest
Hi, Dee! Thanks for info. I'll talk to my doc(s) about it, and if I can't get it from them, I'll get it myself through the mail. My husband might like this idea. <LOL> Suzy --- Dee Troll wrote: > HI Suzy and all. > > Since 'I " added the natural Testosterone > (prescription) and felt that it did strengthen and > toughen up that new tissue rebuilt by the Estrace ( > I added it on the 4th month of my 'slow' healing of > only having used the Estrace initially) I wanted to > send this on If someone wanted to try it, but > perhaps couldn't get a prescription, they 'might' > want to try this for what it's worth. > > It's called Libido Lotion (this IS actual nat. > Testosterone > > <a href= " http://www.sexualitysite.com/ " >Click > here</a> > > I called talked to them and it IS the natural > testosterone (with DHEA) and it is compounded by > COLLEGE PHARMACY (a great compounding pharmacy and > where 'I' get my prescription from tho mine does not > have DHEA) and can be ordered thru the internet > without a prescription which I was amazed to find, > (they do have you fill out a pseudo questionaire on > your health) . $46.00 but that includes the S & H. > They did not give me the % of Testosterone, I know > mine is 2% thru reg. prescription and same price, so > I'm assuming this is the same. Guest guest
Uh, oh! He doesn't NEED any more libido! LOL! I keep asking him, doesn't male libido slow down in middle age, or something? Apparently not!
