I heard recently that there is a way to reverse peanut allergies,

but cannot remember where I heard it or from whom. I doubt the

digestive enzymes are " it " though, different mechanism, peanut

allergy is a " true " allergy. Sorry this isn't more helpful, but

know someone out there knows how to cure it and keep looking.

Hi, I'm a lurker here but just wanted to say that I was able to overcome my

peanut allergy (and a lot of other food allergies) through NAET. I have

ulcerative colitis (10 years) and was able to get off of Asacol and 6MP

through NAET. Hopefully, it will work for you, also!

Thank you . We just had adjustment #2 today and know this will

work for us. How long did it take for you? Did you redo the blood test?

When?

Hi,

We went through a cashew allergy episode with my daughter - had to do the

whole hospital/oxygen/steroid shot scene. We simply don't feed her

cashews. Maybe that's too simplistic, but I feel the same with peanuts. I

have absolutely no need for them. Their nutrition isn't that great. Their

EFA's are the wrong balance. The majority of them, other than the ones

from New Mexico are loaded with aflatoxins. Is your concern that she won't

be able to eat peanuts?

Hi, , I had the treatment and did the 24 hour avoidance of peanuts,

then was muscle tested a week later at my next appointment and the allergy

was cleared. I've been going crazy eating peanut butter for the past few

months (I missed it!) and haven't had any ill effects. I've had some bad

experiences with allopathic doctors with my ulcerative colitis and thyroid

issues, so I haven't had any blood tests. I'm getting the NAET treatments

and muscle testing from my chiropractor. I've been going once a week since

January and have cleared a lot of food allergies, all of which were trigging

the colitis (flares, hospital visits, etc) and really feel like NAET has

given me back my life. Good luck and feel free to email me with any

questions!

Hi, our son is 4 yrs old and severly allergic to tree nuts. We found out the

hard way, ie, an

allergic reaction requiring hospitalization.

We have been told that there is no cure for these types of reactions, but we

have

researched other modalities. I have heard that 20% of peanut allergies do go

away by

themselves as children mature. Mt. Sinai in NYC is working on a vaccine for

peanut

allergies, don't know if the trials have started yet.

We have done NAET and I don't know if it has worked because we stay away from

nuts. I

did not want to have him try a nut to see if it worked. In all honesty, we are

not looking to

cure the allergy. If he has a nut by mistake in the future, I would not want

him to die from

it, just get a rash or something along those lines.

Our homeopath believes sugar/diet is the culprit or at least a way out of the

allergies. We

use probiotics and try to stay away from sugar. He believes that a healthy diet

(along the

lines of native nutrition) is very helpful.

Also, there is a strong correlation with nut allergies and hay fever/pollen

allergies, etc.

Don't know why that is the case.

Hope this is helpful.

It's an alternative treatment to clear food and environmental allergies

that's based on acupuncture (no needles, though). I first heard about it on

another listserve (Healing Crow, I think) and found my chiropractor/NAET

practitioner, who's wonderful, on the NAET website, www.naet.com

My DH has had peanut allergies since he was a kid, still does - none of our boys

have them, but our 18 yo nephew does....neither of them have outgrown it... both

have many allergies - they avoid all nuts as any nut makes their throat itch at

some level... be careful with allergies. Our nephew has done many natural

therapies ( no accu anything) with no improvements.

just my 2 cents :) Have a great day!
