Guest guest
My doctor had me take three Advil 1/2 hour prior to the procedure. I guess it helped. The procedure was pretty darned painful in spite of the Advil. My doctor was very quick about getting it done though so the pain didn't last too long. Jan endometrial biopsy > hi.. i am having an endometrial biopsy in April. It is being done in office and no anesthesia of any sort. Doc said to take some advil 1/2 hour prior. Anyone have any suggestions other than the doc. Lori > > >

Doc said to take some advil 1/2 hour prior. Anyone have any suggestions other than the doc. Lori Lori....I had a cone biopsy done 10 days ago. My uterous is tilted and twisted due to the invasion of some rapidly growing new fibroids. Hence getting past the fibroids hurt, and the twirl of the cone also hurt. My pain threshold is high...this hurt. I doubt that it would have been as painful but for the condition of my uterous. My gynie gave me some Motrin, and told me to expect some bleeding. It lasted less than a day; one regular tampon. It was worth the moment(s)of pain, the biopsy came back clean. Now waitng for the PAP results. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, I think suction biopsy is what I had. No warning about it either. I think I had some cramping for a few hours following.
