Guest guest
Do you have food allergies or sensitivities to fillers in different drugs or OTC products, or have you ever had this investigated before? For the last several months, it seems to me that this is all what this is similar to. Allergies of this type cause some of these same symptoms. You need to have this investigated, with the testing being for these specific types of fillers that bind drugs together. Synthroid question > > > Ok...here goes. Guest guest
Hi , I don't think it is allery related. The interesting thing is that the anxiety lasted about 24 hours. I stopped taking my 1/2 morning dose of my 25mcg synthroid to see what would happen. I went back on last night. So far I am fine. My sleeping is still messed up but the sleep study on 12/14 should hopefully reveal something. > > > Do you have food allergies or sensitivities to fillers in different drugs or > OTC products, or have you ever had this investigated before? Guest guest
Yes, I firmly believe the synthetic T4 only meds are at least partly to blame for the tons of adrenal problems we are seeing. I was on it for years and finally almost died presumably from hypothyroid as I had the full sym, potms of Myexedma Coma, but I had alot of side effects too. I 3will never take a synthetic T4 med again. At best it only partially gives your body something to work with which is why some folks FEEL OK on it for several years. For some it is better than nothing at least for a while, the the other problems of long tern under treated hypo start showing up. I think you have a good plan. If your adrenals are indeed weak, it is best to treat them first, then slowly start Armour. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
, I also was diagnosed hypo and began Armour which made me feel worse too. Those on the forum will tell you that it's because of weak adrenals. I'm treating my adrenals with HC and once you have stable daily average temps. you can re-introduce thyroid meds. Armour is recommended over synthroid. wrote: I've been on 50 mcg of synthroid for 4 weeks since diagnosis for low thyroid by the TSH test, and it has lowered my TSH from 8.1 to 4.6. However I've been finding as I continue to use it that I have symptoms I didn't have before starting it. I have been feeling really lightheaded, very dizzy, bad headache, sore muscles, tired and plain overall lousy and not functioning well. I am waiting to recieve the thyroid, adrenal and sex hormone saliva test from Canary Club as I want to know the overall picture. Plus I only have one adrenal gland and think I may have adrenal insufficiency. I have been feeling so bad on the synthroid that I stopped taking it 4-5 days ago, and am just starting to feel human from being off it. My thought is to wait till I do the testing, get the results and figure out what to treat first at that point, as I know the adrenals come before thyroid. Plus I want to be on natural thyroid and not synthroid EVER AGAIN. Two questions. 1-Does this sound like a feasible plan? Any drawbacks or downside? 2-Does the synthroid really cause a lot of folks to feel as bad as I have been feeling on it? And if it can, why do people use it? ly I felt better untreated than when put on this medication. Thanks, __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Your plan sounds good to me. I'm glad you noticed before you were on Synthroid for ten years, like I was. I think we take it because our doctors tell us we will have to take it for life in order to survive - and we are trained to trust what they say. Luckily, you AND I have found help on the internet. I'm much better and you will be, too.
