Guest guest
Hey Norms.....and all Well I haven't said much about my medical condition lately, but it's mostly because I am pissed! As you know, I was tested for Human Parvo virus and it came back positive. After reading up on this virus I came across some info that told me it mimicks Lupus, and like Lupus it attacks parts of you body, like your pancreas. Well I had a Dr visit and he tells me he thinks the Parvo is not active although my test tells me it is a 7.8 (normal range is 0.9 to 1.1) and he tests my ANA AGAIN. ANA comes back negetive again. So we are back on the band wagon again sending me from Dr to Dr.....I am losing weight due to constant diarrhea, I hurt so bad, my joints and muscles hurt....I have NO energy again. So I've chalked it up to a fibro flare again. He took me off Naprosyn and put me on Ultracet, which I am taking 2 pills 3x's a day along with Darvocet....it dulls the pain and that is about it. I do NOT have good pain control. Anyway back to my point! My pcp sent me to a Endicr.Dr....after waiting for 4 hours to see this man you know what he tells me......LOSE WEIGHT, and I will cure my diabetes and not have to use the CPAP machine anymore. Wel first off I am losing weight that is why my pcp sent me to the idiot in the first place! Second, I will Never cure the diabetes, because my pancreas has been damaged from so many attacks! Aand third, I am so use to the CPAP machine I will probably never be able to sleep without it now! Anyway, pcp called and wanted me to have another Ct scan done on my liver. He keeps telling me there is something wrong he just doesn't know what. WELL... I have Fibro and parvo virus!!!!! he keeps blowing off the parvo...... So I am being pissed off right now and refusing to have anymore tests done or seeing anymore quacks! I've been doing this for 5 years now and the merry go round never stops! I go from one Dr to the next, test after test for them to tell me to lose weight and get rid of my stress. they are MY stress! I know I am being a butthead about this, but right now I am really mad! When I asked what we need to do about the parvo, he said NOTHING! Ok, I'm off the band wagon....... Love, Becky Normi Balderrama wrote: I will have to read more about myofascial pain. I was told by 3 doctors over a period of years that I had this. I just clumped it in with Fibro, although I was told it was not exactly the same though. I was originally told I had polymylagia and to start reading about polymoyositis. When I ready bout pmyositis, i got really freaked out. They have check my muscle enxzymes and they were negative. The first rjeumy I ever seen said he predicted this, and he predicted many other things that did happen over the many years.
