Guest guest
Dear FORUM, Ref: Mohajer's posting on Injection Practices in India -An IPEN Study. It is very unfortunate but pertinent issue which has been given due importance inspite of several initiatives by WHO (SIGN) and other agencies. In eastern parts of India (Bihar, WB, Orissa) the situation is still very pathetic. Another socio-behavioural issue always pinches me is no or least concern to the hygeiene. We can find garbage every and anywhere which leads to vector borne diseases and then ther is an immense hue and cry. Even media, except hyping the outbreaks out of proportion just to increase their TRP, does nothing on these two most important issues of social medicine. Dr. Sarman Singh, MD.
