Had a friend years ago with significant adult acne (he was in her early 40's) and had been taking nutritional yeast for years, thinking it was " good for him. " I suspected it may be an acne trigger for him, and sure enough, his acne cleared up when he stopped taking the nutritional yeast. Sorry, I don't recall how soon after eliminating it before his face cleared up. Regarding containing msg/glutamate and excitotoxins. YES! According to Janice Joneja, dietitian.
