Yes, I'm sure that you can find them on a regular keyboard...they are

a little more expensive...but more reliable I think.

I think you can buy a separate touchpad and use it in conjunction with your current keyboard. My uncle had one of the first ones before the laptops had them.

Thanks! I do need a new keyboard--this one is ancient. The only thing is that each keyboard has slightly different spacing so a new one will slow my typing for awhile--but, what the hell, I guess I've got plenty of time.

I figured I'd have to adjust to it---is it easier on your hands?

I think it is. No cramping of the fingers and nothing to have to hold on to. If your hand shakes, you may have a problem.

Kathy - I have one of those rounded keyboards and it has a touch pad on it. I don't remember where I got it, either Wal-Mart or at Staples or some store like that. I'm so used to the divided rounded keyboard, its hard for me to type on a regular keyboard anymore.

I think so because I can just slide my fingers across it rather than having to flex them to point and click.

Very rarely my hands actually shake. more often I feel shaky and weak on the inside, but no actual shaking if that makes any sense?

Kathy,

Makes perfect sense to me. I'm having the shaky inside feelings more often, but no shaking that anyone can see.
