Telephone counseling-full time

Fantastic, unique opportunity available for a Registered Dietitian who would

thoroughly enjoy providing nutrition education and counseling regarding diet

and exercise, to patients referred by physicians. The employer is a large,

private, research oriented physician practice. The majority of patients will

have conditions including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and/or

obesity. Hours will be primarily Monday-Friday during the day, however, some

evening shifts will be necessary to accommodate patients unavailable during

daytime hours.

The ideal candidate is an extremely dynamic professional who would embrace

the chance to work with a cutting edge employer. Creativity and flexibility

are required for success in this role. Solid knowledge in diabetes, cardiac

nutrition and obesity, along with the desire to work with these types of

patients is vital.

This is a full-time salaried position, available immediately. Counseling

must be done from the College Park, MD office. Entry level RDs (who have

already passed the exam) are welcome to apply. Local candidates are

preferred.
