A Note about Trimming Posts...

....if you're set up to receive the " new format " of messages,

highlighting the text won't let you highlight just a bit -- it

highlights the whole thing.

To solve this problem (if you're replying from your email, and not

the group's home page), go to the top of the page, and you can

usually choose between " Plain " or " Color & Graphics " .

Select " Plain " , and then you should be able to highlight just those

portions that you want to delete.

The other option is to switch back to receiving messages in

the " traditional " format.... To do this, go to the group's home

page, and select " Edit My Membership " from the top of the page.

Then, scroll to the bottom of the Edit page, and you'll find two

buttons -- one for " Traditional " , and one for the " new " format.

Select " traditional " , and Save your changes. )
