Guest guest
ALA chelates arsenic. S From: julie genser [mailto: j_genser@...]To: @...: Thu, 22 Aug 2002 12:39:21 +0000Subject: [ ] dmpsmost people on the list seem to use DMSA, ALA or a combination of the two. i would love to hear from those using DMPS alone, and DMPS with ALA. i will be starting this protocol in a couple of weeks after amalgam removal and adding in ALA after 3 months. i did some research on oral DMPS and found some bad stories on the DMPS backfire web site. one of the people who had a bad experience was theorizing that, among other things, their sensitivity to sulfates could have played a role in the bad reaction. i haven't been able to eat onions and garlic lately (i get allergic reactions with clogged sinuses and labored breathing) so i am a little concerned. all comments appreciated, either on list or privately. i chose DMPS because i have both mercury and arsenic toxicity, and it chelates both. thanks, julie_________________________________________________________________Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com

I can't comment on the sulfate thing (way over my head). I attribute the " bad stories " to using large single injected doses -- I believe some people on the backfire site also had amalgams at the time? (I really have not studied that site--- have only read parts...) best wishes, Moria
