Guest guest
yeah, how long has yours lasted? most people tell me three years is a long time but I don't think so, not for that money. I hate it. I did have it wiped clean last week and its worse than it was. I give up. I'd like to rip the thing out and smash it. corky > Your computer only lasted three years? > > > > > > Please visit our homepage at http://members.xoom.com/AChallengers > You will find information, recipes, before and after pictures. > To contact the list owner please send mail to lindag@... > Visit our 2000 Train Tour Site - http://www.brunnet.net/k & l/web_site_train_tour/actraintour.htm > > >
Guest guest
> yeah, how long has yours lasted? most people tell me three years is a long My old one was rebuilt as well, but I had it upgraded and it lasted MAYBE one full year, but I also had a 2.1 gig hard drive that got full too fast cause I download everything... I'm sure that didn't help! Kari
Guest guest
Well, I think it has already been upgraded, andyou are right, it was about a year ago for mine too. > Maybe it would be better if you just take it in for an upgrade??? > > I should have bought a Gateway!! > > Kari > > > > Please visit our homepage at http://members.xoom.com/AChallengers > You will find information, recipes, before and after pictures. > To contact the list owner please send mail to lindag@... > Visit our 2000 Train Tour Site - http://www.brunnet.net/k & l/web_site_train_tour/actraintour.htm > > >
Guest guest
> How are you doing Kari? Is time helping you some and how is Kobe's mom? > Worrying about you. And thinking of you too Hi Norma and thanks for asking about us. We are all doing fine, Kobe's mom finally went back to the apartment where he died and has packed up his things in keepsake boxes, so she is healing, as are the rest of us. I am fine, I guess. My youngest neice came home with us and has been here since last week so I've been trying to keep her occupied since my kids are in school, which has been a busy job for me. We managed to go to Palm Springs Tuesday to the resort and lay by the pool all day but mostly, she has been running errands with me. My business is picking up, I have an appt tomorrow with someone from the United Way who wants to buy a bldg here in town and then Saturday I have two appts, one to list a home and another to show property. So that's very good news and way overdue. My weight is up but I'm also mid-TOM so am hoping the scale goes down by the end of this weekend. Would be nice. I was hoping to stay neck-in-neck with a on our 5 lb challenge but that's not happening. However, I have a renewed vigor (which happens ever so often). I've had more compliments lately from friends and strangers alike telling me how beautiful I am and I'll tell ya: that's good for the soul, whether it's true or not!! So I feel better about myself and want to be thin but just need to get a hold on things. You know when someone spins one of those globes in a classroom and it goes round and round? That's how my world feels to me, like I can't make it stop spinning and I can't control it! But I think its starting to slow a tad and when it does, I will jump on it. I'm not doing too bad though, just am really busy. Thanks again and thanks for letting me get this off my chest! Love, Kari

Guest guest
> That must have been so hard for Kobe's Mom! (I'll keep calling her that - that's exactly what she is!). She sounds like she'll be okay - not great, but okay. Doing something like that (and it hasn't been very long at all) shows some real strength that I don't think I could muster up. > Thanks Terri... Yes, she is trying to be strong because she has the other two children, no husband and is only 24. She knows she has to continue on with her life somehow, even though at times it feels unbearable to her. My sister said she spent two nights there and then couldn't do it anymore and came back to her parents for a couple more nights so it's definitely NOT easy. I think I would/will handle the death of my parents as you have... I'm warning EVERYONE that when/IF mine die, I will be an extreme WRECK, I don't know what I'd do, honestly!!!!!! Those two people are two reasons why my world revolves. So I can understand where you are coming from with not unpacking the bad and sleeping in your dads shirt ((hugs)). I'll keep you updated on Aubrey's progress. Her parents will be here tomorrow to take Liza back home. Kari
Guest guest
Hi Kari How are you doing? Did your mom get back yet and how was your week past? Did you lose anymore? I hope the business has picked up and you are so busy selling that you do not have time to post just now. That is what I wish for you among other things NNN
