Guest guest
All I can say is that I had excellent care at Mayo (Rochester) - two trips worth. I did get pancreatitis from the ERCP, but that does happen. As usual, the Drs. were very busy, but spent the needed time when it was my turn. The nursing staff was outstanding. St. 's is a teaching hospital, so if you're an " interesting " case, you get to see a lot of people (NOT like Forrest Gump in Vietnam). The most fascinating session was instructed by an (east) Indian Dr., on jaundice and jaundice-like symptoms (I was still a little jaundiced - eyes only). There are 3, if I remember correctly - one of which is an artifact of an antibiotic used in southeast Asia. But not my second one. After reading Dee in Peoria's experience with her hubby at Mayo I'm scared. Blessing, in Ga.
