Guest guest
Rogene, I have been taking Xanax for many years. What could silicone dioxide do to me?? A nurse told me that Xanax could make me fat, but no one has told me that it could be a problem. I should know that anything with silicone in it would be a problem. This is the only drug that seems to help me with my pain! When I did the walks, it put me back in bed, but it was worth the pain. Thank you for sending out this great information...love you......Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```````````` Xanax- silicon dioxide Xanax contains silicone dioxideLana Transue <lanadearesthotmail> wrote: From: "Lana Transue" <lanadearesthotmail>saxony01 Subject: Xanax- silicon dioxideDate: Fri, 24 Nov 2006 16:21:54 -0800Xanax ingredientshttp://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/alpraz.htm_________________________________________________________________Share your latest news with your friends with the Windows Live Spaces friends module. http://clk.atdmt.com/MSN/go/msnnkwsp0070000001msn/direct/01/?href=http://spaces.live.com/spacesapi.aspx?wx_action=create & wx_url=/friends.aspx & mk
Guest guest
Lea, I found the website that lists the ingredients: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/alpraz.htm I've been taking Xanax, too, it helps with the brain fog, and yes it made me gain weight. I'm going to try weaning myself off of it soon and hopefully the brain fog will be manageable and the weight will drop off. Before I started taking it I had lost weight (because of the implants), so I'm curious to see if I lose the added lbs. Guest guest
Xanax is a benzodiazapine, and highly addictive. Guest guest
Lea, I've been away from the computer while my family was here . . .Did you get your question answered? . . The responses I've seen look good. RogeneLea <devans@...> wrote: Rogene, I have been taking Xanax for many years. What could silicone dioxide do to me?? Guest guest
Lea, That sounds good to me! I've been taking it since explant a year ago, because my fatigue was really bad. I'd like to wean myself off of it, I'm thinking between Christmas and New Year's I'll start cutting the dose in half, instead of a whole pill twice a day, I'll take a half pill twice a day and see how I do (I'll check with my doctor to make sure that's not too dramatic a cut, but I took it for about 6 months a number of years ago and I didn't have a problem cutting the dose in half as I worked myself off of it). Guest guest
Rogene, yes I have had many notes regarding Xanax. Some were like me, they used it for pain, but I plan on coming off this drug in the near future. It has really helped me over the years. There is no drug that comes without some side effects. A dear friend told me that Coumadin would kill me, she wants me to take herbs instead...I am afraid to come off this drug. Take care and thank you for all that you are doing...love you.....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`` Xanax- silicon dioxide Xanax contains silicone dioxideLana Transue <lanadearesthotmail> wrote: From: "Lana Transue" <lanadearesthotmail>saxony01 Subject: Xanax- silicon dioxideDate: Fri, 24 Nov 2006 16:21:54 -0800Xanax ingredientshttp://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/alpraz.htm_________________________________________________________________Share your latest news with your friends with the Windows Live Spaces friends module. http://clk.atdmt.com/MSN/go/msnnkwsp0070000001msn/direct/01/?href=http://spaces.live.com/spacesapi.aspx?wx_action=create & wx_url=/friends.aspx & mk
Guest guest
Rogene's right, Lea... I've gone off Xanax before; I was taking 3 mg total/day, and my psychiatrist had me going down only 0.225 mg/day, with an interval of 6 weeks. So, down 0.225 mg for 6 weeks, then down another 0.225 mg for six more weeks, etc. That would be 6 week intervals X 4 or 36 weeks which would be 9 months. It took 9 months to go off the 3 mg/day entirely. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to get off. But if you cut it too much, too quick, it can result in seizures. > > Lea, > > Be careful about dropping too quickly . . . know how you feel before cutting Xanax back too much. . . .You've been on it this long, taking your time to get off won't make any difference at this point. > > The last thing you want is to create a crisis. > > Rogene >
Guest guest
Absolutely we must listen to our own bodies. You and I are similar in our diagnoses. I've got Lupus with CNS involvement. I like my new rheumatologist; I think we can work together against this difficult disease. Stay close, too, love, > > Thank you : > > I am still going to take this drug, because I not able to take painkillers. We must listen to our bodies because we know what are symptoms are. I know that I have Lupus/MS, and at the moment I am having a painful flare. My rheumatologist called me this morning, and he told me that my bones are stable, but he warned me about climbing on ladders or chairs. He has always told me that I have a Lupus flush on my face; however, he claims that I do not have Lupus, but my family doctor claims that I do! I know that I do, too. > > Stay close love always...........Lea
Guest guest
hi Dear Lea, are you going to try and get a new rheumatolgist now that he doesn't seem to believe the Lupus diagnosis? Or are you stuck with this one? XOXO > > > > Thank you : > > > > I am still going to take this drug, because I not able to take > painkillers.
