Guest guest
Sandy, When you have your capsules removed, there is really nothing for you to ask for in terms of taking with you. But you should ask for a video of the surgery, if possible, with a focus on seeing what comes out of your body. And then I would ask for pictures of the capsules upon removal. In addition, you should set up a pathologist to analyze them before your surgery starts, so that there is no question that you want them looked at immediately and checked out for anything suspicious. I wish Lany's explant site was still up, as she had very good info on there. Did anyone copy that article of hers? I believe there was a webpage that had a letter on what to ask for from the pathologist. If anyone knows where that letter is, can you post it? PattySandy Verticelli <dusty.com@...> wrote: Thanks . Guest guest
Sandy . . . When a woman schedules her explant, she should tell them (in writing) she wants her implants and capsules prepared for shipping to a specialist who will examine them for bacteria and staph organisms. Also . . . ask for a photo of the capsules and implants. It doesn't cost anything to ship the implants to Dr. Blais. . . . He will contact the woman later, when he's ready to examine the implants. . . . Or a woman may take the package home . . . and look at the stuff themselves. UGH! Guest guest
Believe it or not, Sandy, some people HAVE sold used implants on Ebay. Rather disgusting, I think - even as a 'gag' gift. What a vile 'gift'. And YES, Rogene is right -- get everything IN WRITING. > Thanks . > > I am in no pain really - except for a headache. Guest guest
I reported him again. Please, everyone, just keep reporting him to ebay. Guest guest
Seems like I read years ago that Pam put hers up on ebay? I think I read that....either way, that's pretty disgusting! I saw that someone once had put a wad of chewed gum that Britney Spears had supposedly chewed and spit out. Guest guest
They don't care because he is not breaking any regulations or rules. There is nothing wrong (legally or per Ebay policy) with selling implants for a 'gag' , if they are not sold for reuse. I think it is gross, but you won't get them banned unless they sell for reuse. > > >In a message dated 8/23/2006 4:57:50 AM Eastern Standard Time, > >glory2glory1401@... writes: > >yup, actually 2 pair salines, and even 1 pair of silicone gels! Guest guest
Breast implants are a controlled medical device, they cannot sell them on ebay. Guest guest
Well okay! Let's see if Ebay takes it down. It is my understanding that they are a 'controlled medical device' if they are to be used in a human body (eg surgery). They are sold as 'gags' frequently. But if you are right, then Ebay should take them down. I haven't seen that. > > > > > > >In a message dated 8/23/2006 4:57:50 AM Eastern Standard Time, > > > >glory2glory1401@ writes: > > > >yup, actually 2 pair salines, and even 1 pair of silicone gels!
