FIRE STATION ALERT SYSTEM

The San Fire Department needs to upgrade our Fire Station Alerting

System in conjunction with a project to replace our CAD system. We will be

installing a new Intergraph CAD system in 2003 / 2004.

We have in-station equipment that we will probably keep: Relay boards,

audio amplifiers, station radios (Motorola), printers, etc.

We need to replace everything from the CAD connection in the dispatch center

to the equipment wall in the fire stations.

We currently use analog modems (9600 bps) over dedicated telephone circuits,

but are interested in upgrading that.

We have T1 telephone lines into each station, so would like to consider that

option.

Request for information: We would really appreciate hearing from any Fire

Department who recently issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for

Quote (RFQ) for a replacement Fire Station Alert System.
