Guest guest
Blood sugar dropping causes cortisol to increase. Just read on another forum that this is the reason the cortisol is highest in the morning. Begs the question...what the hell is wrong with my blood sugar/cortisol response?! Have most of you out there with adrenal issues also experienced blood sugar issues? I still suffer from low blood sugar - a wee bit now, compared to before - even on HC. Anyone else? Guest guest
I don't know how any of you can't eat every three hours, because that's about how often I get hungry and have a little something. --- Duane wrote: > Absolutely, I have to eat small snacks throughout > the day or I get > all the low blood sugar symptoms, > dizzy-tired-listless...need I go on > LOL > > > > > Blood sugar dropping causes cortisol to increase. > Just read on > > another forum that this is the reason the cortisol > is highest in the > > morning. > > > > Begs the question...what the hell is wrong with my > blood > > sugar/cortisol response?! > > > > Have most of you out there with adrenal issues > also experienced > blood > > sugar issues? > > > > I still suffer from low blood sugar - a wee bit > now, compared to > > before - even on HC. > > > > Anyone else? > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Sponsored Link Degrees online in as fast as 1 Yr - MBA, Bachelor's, Master's, Associate Click now to apply http://yahoo.degrees.info

Just as I'm getting going on a project, I've got to jump up & find a snack...and not just an easy-to-grab high carb snack, but something that's not going to slam me down further! It's a pain! When I started metformin I was amazed, because I realized that I hadn't felt " hungry " - you know, tummy rumbling, etc. - in YEARS! Then as adrenals crapped out, even the metformin didn't do much. There's something wrong with THAT picture!
Guest guest
I've had low blood sugar issues as far back as I can remember, even as a child. Since starting cortisol replacement, it's gone. Linn > Blood sugar dropping causes cortisol to increase. Since starting cortisol replacement, it's gone. Well, I'm beginning to think that I may need a wee bit more HC, but I'll wait a bit before I decide since I haven't been on for long. The blood sugar has definitely improved, just not resolved entirely.

I certainly have... thought I was on my way to a diabetes diagnosis myself. I have had " irregular " glucose tolerance tests since my 20's. Probably have had low adrenals since I was a kid... (VERY high stress home and the litany of things that happened to my family before I was 12... I won't bore you.)
Guest guest
Yep, still getting low blood sugar issues. Not as severe since before HC, but still have them.
