Guest guest
Hi, Val, Do you know of an online place where I can get pet meds w/o an rx? Need refills on Sentinel for my dogs & really can't afford the vet right now, just to get a refill, both financially and energy-wise. Thanks! Guest guest
http://www.1800petmeds.com/pselect.asp?LV=263 & PG=Sentinel & AFFID=GG & ID=19259572 But can't you just call your vet for a refill? I would try it as they might not insist on seeing your pet for this. BTW this is not a product I would use... My choice is a worming dose of Ivermectin every month.. If your dog is large enough you can use the horse wormer. I used it for years on my Akitas and Siberians. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thanks for the info. Well, I need to get established with a new vet, and don't want to spend the $$$$, since we just had both dogs checked prior to moving in June for the travel papers. And the old vet was a money grubber anyway...anything was an opportunity for an office visit! OK, while I DON'T want to take up your time with TOO MUCH OT info...you piqued my curiosity about sentinel...why wouldn't you use it (in a sentence or two...don't take too much time). My standard poodle is around 55lbs, so maybe the horse dose for her, but definitely not for the cockapoo, who is 13 lbs. Is that an Rx med? If using only a wormer, what about fleas? (Or should I check in with Helen on that flea shampoo...) Thanks! > > http://www.1800petmeds.com/pselect.asp?LV=263 & PG=Sentinel & AFFID=GG & ID=19259572 > But can't you just call your vet for a refill? I raised german shepherds and trained them for years. I also used the ivermectin. I used to get it from the horse feed store. It worked great and was a lot more cost effective. B. I treat when I see he has symptons. Thanks. Mo NOVA Counselling & Healing Services

I have been treating Blondie when he gets diarrhoea/constipation/drags his bottom along the ground as my neighbour told me that this a sign of worms. Guest guest
Adult dogs seldom get worms! Heart worm is a very real threat to them however. Scooting can be from impacted anal glands or just wiping his butt! LOL.. even vets don;t think if that but I have had MANY clients come in saying their vet said to check the anals as he was scooting, and it was a dog with a little bit of poop stuck on his butt hair! JEEZ they don't have T paper! But before you give a dog ANY heartworm meds to prevent it, you need to have3 him checked to make sure he is not already infected as the meds when they kill off the heart worms can clog the heart and kill the dog if he has them. As this is WAY OT if you want more info, just email me.. I also worked for vets for years... Started out as a vet tech LONG ago. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
