He said that the bulletin board was being hacked. It probably was.

Autistics.org has been hacked before too. Trying to secure a bulletin

board has nothing to do with suppressing dissent.

Joe, I agree with you that Carley has little tolerance for

dissent but that seems typical of many of our " leaders. "

I don't get the impression that he is running scared though. His

organization is growing as is its funding. He is also doing a good

job of getting some messages out about stuff like the recent mercy

killings. I don't see any other of our groups doing that.

I have some issues with MJC but you know, he does have some good

connections that we can all benefit from if/when we get his

attention. I know he listens to me at least sometimes which is more

than I can say for some other folks " on our side. "

funding is going up as his personal income.

But, again, what does any of this have to do with taking a web forum

temporarily offline because it's been hacked?

For general reference, after moving to our own server and seeing the

server logs, it's become very obvious that people run scripts all the

time trying to get through any vulnerability in a website they can

find. This is a pasttime for some people. If something is shown

*not* to be secure, you do have to take it down until you can secure

it, whether it's a web forum or some other aspect of the site.

Because any vulnerability will eventually be found, and exploited.

If it had been a problem with a links script, or something, I doubt

there'd have been any reason for you to suspect that they're doing

this to suppress dissenters. But this happens with forums scripts

too, and a lot of other kinds of scripts. Just because you don't like

them (even if it's justifiable) doesn't mean that you can attribute

every action they take to malice or other negative things.

I get things done.

We are putting a board together. We will have a 501c3 qas well

Jerry,you are are not at ARN. This all could happen very quickly,

MIchael is putting money in his pocket. He would nt host a meeting unless

there is money in it. This is why there is no NYC meeting , he is not

getting paid for it, what done? What has he done for the autistic community

besides hosting meetings he is paid to do???

I have done a lot and have been very proactive as I can be with MY MONEY not

other people's money.

I am sad to see you feel ARN you waste your time. I dont know why you think

that.

We are making progress. We are not parasites. Unlike we workin the

real world. I am an entrepreneur.

Also no autistic should EVER feel like a parasite living on public

assitance. I dont but that does not mean those that do should feel bad. It

is sort of reparations against a hostile NT world.

Debra also put out that call and I believe engaged an elected offical

directly. You should think about joining ASAC.

Carley was paid for those meetings. He had grants etc.

My main beef with carley is that he is elitest. He mistreats people. His

community is the autism community , mine is the autistic community.

People trust and respect me more I think than he understands. In fact,

People give me their hard earned money. Allow me to work on their software

which is often critical to their business. Which means they entrusted to me

their very livelihood.

So this notion of that nobody trusts or respects me is a unfounded one. Are

you reading from the carley talking points memo?? Raidsing money is good.

But autism speak's money is tainted money. As no self respecting group would

accept money from skin head and nazis, no self respecting autistic group

should accept money from curebies.

I just dont understand all this hositility towards me from you. We need to

form a board. I guess you dont want to be part of it. But that takes time.

We need to be able work together.
