Thanks! I've been thinking of you and your daughter and son-in-law a lot in

the past six weeks. I'm happy to have a target-able problem, but in many

ways it's still as illusive as ordinary vv (if there is such a thing).

" Classic off-the-wall herpes " doesn't lessen after about a year. It's

already been almost 3 years and it's still getting worse. At the moment it

seems to be overtaking the valtrex, which is a really bad sign.

My experience with this case of herpes is that it could rob me at gunpoint

if it wanted to. It can do anything it wants to. It doesn't care WHAT herpes

" typically " does, and if it finds out, it will intentionally do something

different. This case of herpes could erase my hard drive. It could lower the

temperature of my refrigerator. It can sabotage my applications for

financial aid and put unauthorized charges on my long distance phone line.

It can do ANYTHING.

However, it's true that some of the worst of the guessing games are over,

and for that I'm thankful. It's not a much easier road than VV was, but at

least I can see where I'm walking.
