Guest guest
This afternoon when giving my son reflex massage, I noticed his foot soles were yellowish. I don't know if he has problem metabolizing beta carotenes, or bilirubin build-up in the body. I did give him orange/carrot juice a few time this week. He had jaundice at birth. I might need to check his liver enzymes?! Could this be a sign of anemia or viral flare-up? Viral infections can interfere with the body's ability to process and remove bilirubin. He takes 500 mg Zithromax once a week. Can treating bacterial infection cause viral flare-up? His most recent dose was taken after dinner Friday night. Has anyone who taken Zithromax experienced yellow foot soles or skin? (Our Zithromax is pure powder form of Azithromycin and nothing else - no colors.) Thanks for any comments and pointers.
