Guest guest
What is the PS Stuff? I would love to stop being a night owl! Especially as I get up at 5 a.m. to have plenty of time to work the stiffness out before I can get dressed for work on weekdays! C. Original Message: < Also started taking PS the stuff to help your circadium rythm, helps reduce cortisol output at night, hopefully to stop me being such a night owl.>
Guest guest
The PS stuff for your circadian rhythm is: phosphatidylserine………NOW you know why people refer to it as PS lol I didn’t find too much help on how much to take so have been experimenting I take 2 capsules around dinner time and 2 more an hour or so before bedtime. I have been able to get myself to bed by 12:30 a couple of nights – many nights it is 2 – 3:00 or worse – I NEVER fall asleep………and then I get my 2nd wind the next day around 8 – 10 pm when your cortisol levels are suppose to be going lower to help you fall asleep. Viscous cycle……… They are then suppose to rise again between 6 – 8 in the morning to help wake us up…….I’m dragging until 10 – 11…….. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
i stopped taking it because it thought it was making it more difficult for me to get up in the morning. i'm usually so fatigued from my day that i can fall asleep. but there is always the random day where i'm wide awake at 3am and cursing my neighbors above me who think it's 12pm in the afternoon making so much noise i couldn't sleep EVEN with a fan running AND earplugs. yes, i'm bitter. Guest guest
Hey, I know I'm jumping into the conversation late here, but what is this stuff supposed to do for you? Stupid college education, I can draw the structure of it and tell you where it goes in a pathway but of course I can't tell you what it DOES! LOL Jen > > i stopped taking it because it thought it was making it more difficult for me to get up in the morning.
Guest guest
Phosphatidyl serine is supposed to level out cortisol in the body. Lower it if it is high and help raise it when low, though it is mostly recommended for high night time cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thanks Val -- now I just have to figure out how I was supposed to know that from all of those pathways I had to memorize. > > Phosphatidyl serine is supposed to level out cortisol in the body. > Lower it if it is high and help raise it when low, though it is mostly > recommended for high night time cortisol. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ >
Guest guest
Yes, I have that too. If I can get to bed by 10-11:00 I may fall asleep. But at around 11:00 if still up, I am more energetic than in the morning. I get a second wind around 6 too. I will start the PS tonight. I have some it is just that I have a cabinet full of supplements for Lyme and mercury toxicity and it is hard trying to take everything. -- Re: swollen eyes and sublingual question - PS stuff The PS stuff for your circadian rhythm is: phosphatidylserine………NOW you know why people refer to it as PS lol I didn’t find too much help on how much to take so have been experimenting I take 2 capsules around dinner time and 2 more an hour or so before bedtime.
