OT: The autism epidemic is not going away

I seen a couple of kids yesterday, 3 and 4 who were behind in speech. I said to

their dad, " You know they are behind in speech, and you can get free services

for that from the school district. " His reply was that people have told him

that, but the other children his kids play with have worse speech. I said,

" then they are behind in speech too. " They are out-of-control as well, so not

sure what they will eventually be diagnosed with, but the epidemic is

continuing. I just heard from a family member who went to a reunion, and

everyone he talked to there said that they either have a child or a relative on

the spectrum. Geez.
