Guest guest
Come to think of it, NONE of them were allowed. Boy we’ve come a long way baby…….lol,…. I just saw a Travel channel program on the worlds best bathrooms earlier today. I only caught the last 3, but: # 3 was in Wisconsin, at Kohlers Art Center. The whole bathroom is painted like an Artist canvas right down to the commodes. #2 best was at the Mandolay Casino in the China Grill, in Las Vegas. Its bathroom is a “unisex” one where the stalls are separated only by beaded curtains. [no thankyou] #1 best was in China, Hong Kong its bathroom everything was solid gold! Funny how that program came on right after I mentioned the “Brady’s”, lol…. Guest guest
I saw that program! One of the bathrooms was a men's room in a resturant. It was a stone wall about 8 feet long and water ran down over it. The men were to pee on the wall and it ran into a drain in the floor. EEWWWW. Because you know that the water circulated back around and up and over the wall all over again. The restroom itself was beautiful and wall, I suppose, was pretty. Until you thought about it's function and what happens to the water..................again I say EEEWWWWWW.... TammySmyelin groovy wrote: Beaded curtains?!! Oh my! Guest guest
ROFL Must smell purdy. Several years ago, my husband was doing work on a couple's garage/shed. He'd met them through their neighbors, and long time friends, whose house he's just helped build/finish. The husband of this second couple is Japanese. In Japan is where he met his wife and these good friend who are now neighbors. (my DH) was told of life in Japan. Customs, norms, interesting facts. One of those tidbits invovled subway "bathroom" pratices. It seems in Japan it's quite acceptable and normal for the men to urinate on the subway walls. Guest guest
I saw the waterfall one at the end, but didn’t know it was for communal peeing!!! Lol… Also,…..one of the bathrooms was also a see thru glass enclosure. The person inside could see out, but no one could see in. Still, can you imagine there you sit trying to do your business, and watching everyone walking by?
