Guest guest
I am an IDOL ADDICT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG Tuesday and Wednesday's are planned around Idol!!!!!!!!! Can someone PLEASE explain to me WHY Mandeza got voted off???????? She was awesome!!!! I honestly had her and in the finals. I was surprised to see Bucky go before Ace. But he will go soon. I'm sorry but I am not a fan of Paris. She's too young for me. She does have a great "singing" voice. and Elliot I just can't watch sing. If I can not watch them and just listen to them, I do like them. will go soon. is growing on me. One thing I learned with Mandeza leaving, I need to make sure I VOTE!!!!!!!!! . Guest guest
I catch it off and on. I do enjoy the play between the judges, they're cute. Speaking of, anyone else catch the new show American Inventor? It's drawing me in. But then again so is Deal or no Deal...partly because my son (8) gets such a kick out of it! He jumps up and down and runs around and Yells DEAL!!!!DEAL!!! It is So cute and burns up some of those pre-bedtime energies! Peace and Blessings ~*~ Akiba ~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://yodamamma.blogspot.com/ -- OT....American Idol anyone? Are there any other American Idol fans on here? If so do you have any predictions on who will win? This would be a fun topic to keep going! J I was shocked when Mandesa was voted off, and now I am not so sure what the public is going for. She in my opinion had a fantastic voice, and star quality. Here are my predictions based on how talented I think the rest are. Chris: he has great vocals, and good stage presence, but he has only one sound. If the American public is mostly made up of hard rockers then he just might win. Ace: unfortunately I think this next week he will be gone. He isn’t consistant in his vocals, singing off key most of the time, and really the only thing I think he has going for him, is he is dang cute! Lol…. Elliott: he is one fine singer, and I have seen him come out of his shell, and give a good performance these last few weeks. His vocals are right on, and considering he is deaf in one ear, is remarkable that he can stay on key. I don’t think he quite has the look that America is looking for, but he is nonetheless star quality IMHO! : what a character! When he is singing in his style he is fabulous! A couple weeks ago he tried to tone it down [thanks to Simon], and he didn’t quite pull it off. Again because of his genre is specific to his style then if that is what most of the public is made up of, then I think he has a shot. : from day one I thought she was star quality, but then something happened. I still think she sings good, but she is sounding the same to me week after week. I wanted her to win from the beginning but now I’ve changed my mind. : she is something else isn’t she? I like her, even if she is putting on an act which some people claim she is. I think she showed her versatility when she sang the Queen song, and it surprised everyone how well she did. Because she is country, it could go either way. Depends again on the public and the majority of who’s watching. I personally like country, but they’ve had several country people win it in the past and I think they might want something different this time. IMHO! J Paris: WOW,…….thats an understatement for the talent this girl exudes!! For only being 17, she is blessed with natural talent. Not hard to believe since she grew up with family who also were singers and stars. But……..whether she has had that influence or not, this girl is phenomenal. She has a wide range of vocals, and she dresses the part so I think it shows a lot of versatility. I enjoy watching her, and am anxious to see what she comes up next. I was utterly shocked when she ended up in the final 3 a few weeks ago. So now I am nervous about if she might not make it all the way through. I haven’t made up my mind yet who I want to win. I lean heavily towards Paris, but then there’s a couple others I like as well. So what do you all think? Smiles, Jackie [oregon]
Guest guest
I've been watching American Idol. I'm not ready to make a prediction though. I was pretty sure that Ace would be leaving this week. On the results show, asked Simon which one of Ace and Bucky would be going home. I thought it would be Ace. Simon guessed Ace. But, when it was announced that Bucky would be going home, it surprised me. I like Bucky. He did a good job with his Queen song. I thought he was actually better than Ace. I heard on the radio this morning that Bucky was offered a job with Sawyer Brown. Guest guest
Yahooooo, another Idol watcher! J I liked Bucky too. All along I kept voting for him up until last time because I wanted to sort out who really had a chance of winning and cast my votes soley on them. I liked him, but I didn’t think he was good enough to be the winner. He needed to annunciate his words better. Nothing wrong with his voice, but just hard to understand most of the time. In fact it was his husky voice that I liked about him, and for the fact he was cute, and a good ol’ boy! J I was surprised he went before Ace too. I think with the exposure they all have had many of them will go on with other projects. Thanks for your comments Donna! Where in Wa are you? I can’t remember if you said or not! Guest guest
I was kinda hoping that Bucky would make it to the end. I'm really rooting for, (oh gosh, I forgot his name!) the young man with the salt and pepper hair. I don't know why. He's just so entertaining to watch! I watch American Idol every year. I saw on Entertainment tonight that they are making a movie about American Idol. Mandy is supposed to play the part as one of the contestants. I'm going to watch it too. -- Re: OT....American Idol anyone? I've been watching American Idol. I'm not ready tomake a prediction though. I was pretty sure that Acewould be leaving this week. Guest guest
TAYLOR HICKS! LOL….He sure is a showman! I get a little irked with Simon for knocking him no matter what he does. My hubby absolutely loves s style, and singing. Yes, Bucky was adorable, and I am sure we will see him in other things! How fun talking about this. I really needed the diversion from all my ills! Guest guest
I'm rooting for ! I just think he's got great showmanship. I'd love to see him win. I like Ace too. I think the men are a lot stronger than the women this year. But, if a female wins, I hope it's Paris. Such a strong singing voice coming from that little girl's speaking voice. She's so cute. Guest guest
Lol……. , our night is planned around Idol too! some say that Mandesa got voted off because of the religious song she sang during country week. Its hard to tell why except it has to be the genre of audience. If they are mostly hard rock they will vote for and if they are more country they will vote for , and Bucky when he was there. I heard that Bucky had some type of deal set up that would call his number for two hours straight! Funny rumors! I honestly think looks like he is having a spaz attack when he dances!!! Lol….My husband just laughs and laughs, and loves it all. Elliot, is low on looks, and he to me doesn’t seem like an “idol” type. But I do think he has a future in music. Remember ? He had a great voice too, and I thought he should be signed to do behind the scenes voiceovers, or be one of the singing stars in an animated film. He sure had a big fan base didn’t he! Guest guest
Hmm, I think just the opposite. IMHO, the women are stronger. Yeah Paris sure doesn’t sing like her speaking voice. I was thinking how a movie about her little girl voice explodes into this bigger than life sound, and everyone is just blown away! Lol…J She is cute, and I like how she dresses for her songs. Yeah she might be a little young, but to me she is a born talent. Except she has said she didn’t really want a singing career. So maybe she wouldn’t be the best choice?
