Guest guest
Hi all, I wanted to let you all know what has been going on with me. I found out yesterday that my mom only probably has a few days left on this earth. Please pray for our family, as this is a very difficult time. I guess her cancer has taken total control of her body now. All the 'food' she eats is being taken by the cancer, so they tell me she will starve to death. She was always a very strong, independant woman, now it is hard to see her in her body that has failed her.She has lost 50 pounds, that she didnt need to lose. She lost all her hair, etc.... It is hard to see her in all this pain, but i am not ready to say good bye yet.We have hospice coming in this morning, so at least we can keep her comfortable these last few days. I am just trying to figure out how i am going to deal with this. She raised me to be strong, but I dont think I am that strong. I have a 24 year old sister too, we are trying to make final arrangements, figure out what we do next. I feel pretty lost, my faith is even being shaken up. Yes, this hurts more that my chronic pain, unbelievable! Well, thanks for listening, i need to get ready to go to her house now, she doesnt know that i know how fast this is going, she was trying to spare me and wanted to tell me in person. She told my little sister in person yesterday, and I called her and asked her to tell me. anyways, I need to try to compose myself for the 45 minute drive up there. I will post again when I can, Angie Frunz
