Guest guest
Hi, Kris, I'm Annie. I joined last week, but I haven't wrote here before. This sounds like classic signs of low thyroid, or hypothyroid. There's a simple blood test the doctor does to test the TSH, and then they subscribe a daily pill that you take the rest of your life, usually. I've had hypothyroidism for 20 years, I still have problems with fatigue, cold, etc., but it's better than not being on the thyroid hormone replacement. I hope you have better results, if this is the problem. I've had chronic pain for 27 years. Neck pain, face pain, headaches, some back pain. I've lost friends, a husband, and I isolate alot because I get so tired of people not believing me. I've had 2 jaw surgeries, years of dental braces, years of chiropractic, and years before that of seeing MDs that either couldn't help me or don't believe me. So I haven't talked to an MD about my pain for a long time. Maybe someday when I run out of Vicodin. With a very controlled life, luckily I don't have to take it more than 2-3 times per month. But reading all the posts for a week, I'm thinking maybe I could feel better with different RXs. I'm happy to have found this group and I hope to get to know everyone. Guest guest
Please mention this to the Dr. and ask to have a thyroid function test. Everything you mention points to a dysfunctional thyroid. Sue
