Guest guest
Please consider taking some time and signing up for IAN. It will take about an hour of your time to go thru the questions. Mom and Dad will each need separate email accounts and Explorer is needed to access your accounts. Some of us have voiced our 'concerns' about the need for separate accts and the use of Explorer but so far no change :-/ doris -maryland --- Research Report from Interactive Autism Network Date: Mon, 8 Oct 2007 12:16:10 -0400 (EDT) From: Interactive Autism Network <researchteam@...> Reply- researchteam@... sjsmith@... masthead 1 <http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?t=zfw8hfcab.0.kq4ckfcab.wj5vrccab.4085 & ts=S0286 & p=http%3A\ %2F%2Fwww.ianproject.org%2F> IAN's Third Research Report logo 2 <http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?t=zfw8hfcab.0.kq4ckfcab.wj5vrccab.4085 & ts=S0286 & p=http%3A\ %2F%2Fwww.ianproject.org%2F> Dear Members of the Interactive Autism Network, The IAN Project would like to share with you our third IAN Research Report. Thanks to the thousands of families participating in IAN Research, our knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) is increasing. In our latest Research Report, we share preliminary findings based on this information, including: * How much time school-age children with ASDs are spending in a special education vs. regular education setting * How many children are using full- or part-time personal assistants in the classroom * How rates of paternal and maternal depression vary by ASD diagnosis * Gaps between age at parental first concern and age at child's official diagnosis Read the September 2007 IAN Research Report <http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?t=zfw8hfcab.0.lq4ckfcab.wj5vrccab.4085 & ts=S0286 & p=http%3A\ %2F%2Fwww.iancommunity.org%2Fcs%2Fian_research_reports%2Fian_research_report_sep\ _2007>. So much has been accomplished since IAN's launch in April of this year. We thank everyone who has contributed to IAN's success: individuals with ASDs, families, researchers, advocates, and professionals. Guest guest
Thank you Doris for posting this. I have participated in this and I am looking forward to answering the questions they will have in the future regarding family: Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders Questionnaire Immunization Questionnaire Maternal Depression Questionnaire Child with ASD Weight and Height Questionnaire Perinatal (Birth and Pregnancy) Questionnaire Gastrointestinal Questionnaire Economic and Social Impact Questionnaires I hope that they will address autoimmune disorders in the family medical history in the future. I am going to write them and find out if they will address this issue. I know many parents of children in my school also suffer from fibromylagia, CFS/ME and other autoimmune disorders. http://www.iancommunity.org/ All the best, Jill --------------------------------- Check out the hottest 2008 models today at Autos.
