Guest guest
Please post ranges with your labs. If it is from Quest then you are far from overmedicated, but every lab has different ranges. Guest guest
, You can't say she is overmedicated based on a number. Each person is different, we are NOT a number on a paper. Temps and symptoms are a better gauge of what is going on. Also when were the labs run, did she take meds before the blood draw, and what else is going on in her life? Anxiety is hypo and hyper. If those are Quest labs, then I would question her cortisol levels, if she hadn't taken meds that day. Kate At 09:27 PM 9/6/2006, you wrote: >Please post ranges with your labs. Guest guest
Many of us cannot get our Free Ts into the upper half of their ranges without suppressing the TSH. TSH is a pituitary hormone, not a thyroid hormone. Mine was suppressed about four doses ago, but I am just now getting optimized.sle816@... wrote: Do you think my TSH being suppressed at 0.03 is a problem? How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! Guest guest
-Please re-read my post. I said based on the labs she was FAR FROM overmedicated, but also questioned when she had last taken meds.Trust me I am well aware that numbers don't tell the whole story, but they are nonetheless an important part of the picture. Guest guest
Steph, Don't worry about your TSH. It is a pituitary function, not thyroid. Mine is suppressed, yes it has been that low. It is not harming you. Your Free's are what you look at along with symptoms and temps. Gives you the full picture.
