Guest guest
Hi all. There has been an adoption in our family. " Aren't we a little old " I hear you ask. Well, yes, but we're suckers for punishment. Unfortunately it seems our " baby " has severe car sickness. But she just got her rabies shot today. She's about 13 weeks old and is a true beauty. She is a Beagle named Patches and is a bit noisy. She doesn't bark much at all. But true to her gender, she does whine and per her Beagle nature has an immature but very distinct howl. We picked her up in central Texas and on the 2 1/2 hour ride home she threw up in Joy's lap 3 times. Today Joy took her to the vet for some shots and a checkup and she threw up in Joy's car once on the way and again on the way home. I don't know how we'll travel in the RV with her. Maybe train her where to throw up. After all she does well when it comes to other bodily wastes. She took about 2 days to be completely paper trained. Training my wife took far longer. Not to house break, she already knew that. But to properly take care of me. Regards. Joe Frost
