Ah...maybe they changed it since Supersize Me came out. I think it is still

chicken fat here in Australia.

Look at all that sucrose and corn syrup. Mmmm..delicious guar gum. LOL

Well, for fun I went to Snopes.com and read the food section. I feel

sick now and that is from reading all the false stories. lol

Kristy, you are mistaken: the rumor was that Mc's shakes had cow

eyeballs in them, not chicken fat. No, wait, you said icecream, not

shakes. Their shakes do not contain icecream, whew! What a relief!

Pat,

Thursday I made the mistake of eating a 1/2 milkshake on an empty

stomach. I had what I think was a dumping episode. I remember now why I hated

the

RNY so badly. I was miserable with I know of 15 -20 diarrhea stools with

urgency. It was awful, I went to the bathroom at CVS and every time I stood up

I'd cramp and have to sit back down. I had the old familiar weak shakey legs

feeling that I haven't felt in about 4 yrs. Thank God this isn't a daily thing

any more. How on Earth did I live like this for 6 yrs?? I was washed out and

whenI got home later that evening I slept for 16 hrs that night. Now you

guys KNOW that isn't me!...I'm definately a night owl...LOL.

Pat, I'm singing Your Mantra this week, Thank God for this surgery! If I

never Get below 200lbs, I don't do this on a daily basis. And I learned my

lesson. No more milkshakes on a empty tummy, No matter how friggin hot it is!

HI all

I just watched a facinating episode of " Plastic surgery before and after " on

discovery health.

They had 2 ladies getting P/S in Cabo San Lucas. The results looked great!

The facelift was $5000

The breast implants and thigh lipo were $5000 total also.

This isnt much cheaper than Australia, but it sure is cheaper than the U.S!

The surgeon looked really respectable. His website is

http://www.miguelangeloclinic.com/

Cheers,

Kristy

Mel,

Don't worry about milkshakes. When you get here I will make you a

vanilla chai protein shake. I already bought the stuff from Costco

yesterday. I like the mochocoffee ones. We will have fun with the

blender!

It is the heat making me crave icecream. One of my weight rebound

episodes I blame on late night icecream. Luckily I am too lazy to get

it and now that I know their shakes are not made from icecream, I don't

want one. THat leaves the cones, yummy! They are small so not so bad

a thing to treat with on occasion.

Oh, I see Marta Is planning on making me be good...LOL. We'll have to weigh

on arrival and then on leaving..LOL Fat camp, Here I come....Just kidding.!

I think Marta is afraid another DSer will stink up her house..LOL.

Should I lay off the protein cake??

I am on a Milkshake kick too until Tuesday. Whatever happened then was

enough to break me. The thought of ice cream now nauseates me. Now I'm on a

chicken sandwich kick. It is chick fil a sandwiches with lettuce , tomato, and

cheese. My son works there so I get them 1/2 price....That is a good

thing...LOL.

Oh and Marta, My flight is a non stop from atlanta to Lax an then the

bus ride from lax to bakersfield, so I might be a tiny bit hungry by the time I

hit your car...Be warned. They said no snack and it is a 6 hr flight-total.

I might be able to grab a burger at lax but not sure. Surely they will give

us a diet coke or a juice?? They have gotten so danged stingy with the tinyest

things.

Mel, bring some snacks and some water in your purse. Geeze, I don't

trust them at all! I carry enough food to feed an army. We can stop

at Sonics or something. Hmm..there is one right near the bus stop.

I went to Snopes and they explained about that. It is a powder

beverage. Yuck. I knew it tasted too sweet! They aren't the only

ones, I have had those pseudoshakes at other places. Now, their

icecream is the real deal! I had one this afternoon, yum!
