We're hooting and hollaring here at our house today because Curtis' last

immune panel came back so WONDERFUL! He's been consistently massively elevated

in

CD4 and CD8 plus had very low NK cells -- even in the panel taken three

months ago. But this latest one shows CD4 and CD8 in the NORMAL range!!!! And

his NK cells took a massive leap to 5%!! Yippeeee!

Strangely, between the last two immune panels, he went through a kind of

funky treatment called Neuromodulation Technique with his chiropracter. The

technique (NMT) claims to be able to fix various immune problems. This is

somewhat

similar to NAET but rather than addressing specific allergies, it focuses on

underlying problems affecting the whole body. He had four sessions focusing

on his dysregulated system and now, two months after completing the treatment,

his consistently extremely elevated CD4 & CD8 are normal and his NK cells

jumped from 2% three months ago to 5%. His EOS count also declined a little

bit. Since he has been on the protocol for 15 months, I imagine that

contributed quite a bit to the better numbers but it is odd that the test

improved

so rapidly in only three months when nothing with Dr. G's protocol was changed

in that time and the only new thing he did was NMT. No matter what led to the

improvements, I'm still sooo relieved and excited to see that his system is

finally seeming to get under control!

Gales,

Since his blood tests came back normal, did you see any improvements? How did

you find out about NMT, and does Dr. G approve of this method? CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks

Argie

Gaylen, I would also be very interested to hear what

nmt is. Anything you can tell us about it would be

appreciated. Have you been able to see improvements

in everyday life in Curtis? Barb

He has improved quite a bit since starting the protocol in general.

He's much more focused, less " flightly " , much clearer thinking, follows

conversations and discussions better, fine motor much improved, sensory problems

almost totally gone and his ability to comprehend and discuss abstract ideas is

greatly improved. This is from in general.

The only thing I noticed clearly from the last test which showed things still

pretty off to the current test (and a few weeks after he finished the first

round of NMT treatments) is that his handwriting is significantly neater, he

also suddenly (within a month) was able to do many of the fine motor tasks that

used to be terribly hard for him. He's also had a subtle improvement in

reading comprehension and fluency. Also, an never-ending ear rash he had has

totally cleared up and remained clear for weeks.

How did you find out about NMT, and does Dr. G approve of this method?

I found out about NMT from our chiropracter who was recently trained in it.

Curtis has been seeing her for several years for adjustments and a combo

NAET/TBM allergy treatment. I had mentioned the NAET/TBM treatments to Dr. G

but not the NMT directly since they were so similar and non-invasive and I

couldn't imagine any way that they'd affect the protocol. He didn't express an

opinion about NAET/TBM but I doubt he'd recommend it or see much value in it

given his tendency to want scientific backing for treatments he chooses. It's

pretty way out there and not the least bit scientific.
