Guest guest
I pulled out my old videos and only found 2 with weights. I did find some real old Jane Fonda and Cher workouts...scary <VBG>! I did about 30 min. of AL4 and then put in the strength video and got a pleasant surprise...taebo must be really harder than I thought cuz this tape sure seemed easy and I remember it being a lot harder <G>. Does anyone have any suggestions for some upper body strength tapes with light hand weights? Does anyone have the one of 's that mentions weights? I'd like to do tapes at home for awhile and get my " groove " back before going back to the gym. Thanks. Guest guest
For upper body with light weights, check out Austin's Hit the Spot Arms. It has 3 10min. workouts that are really easy to fit into a busy schedule. I like the Firm workout's (they use 5-10lb weights in all their workouts). I have the Crunch video " Master Blaster " with , but it's not one of his greatest. Hope I was of some help!! > >Reply-To: tae-bo_on >To: tae-bo_on >Subject: Suggestions for Strength Videos >Date: Mon, 26 Feb 2001 20:53:48 -0800 > >I pulled out my old videos and only found 2 with weights. Does anyone have the one of 's that mentions weights>> I know this is old but I have a CRUNCH video that has with weights and it's not bad. I is a lot of chest/shoulder and triceps (OUCH!) but not enough biceps. I did that twice this week for my strength tapes. I also did 3 ABS tapes. One has Sugar_Ray Leonard in it (STUPID workout!) but AWESOME floorwork. It had like 220 (NO LIE, I counted!) crunches without stopping. Guest guest
If you want really GOOD weight work that you can do with/after doing Tae Bo, I highly recommend Cathe Freidrich's weight work. She now offers a Pure Strength Series and a Cross Train Express (CTX) series. If you have a DVD player, then get the CTX series in DVD. Thanks! Cathe comes highly recommended by quite a few people. I've been trying to bid for a tape on ebay at a good price to see how I like her style before I buy a set...but I'm pretty sure she is the way I'll go. Guest guest
Coleen, Cathe does great strength tapes. Nothing flashy though just straight gym-style workouts. I also bid on my first tapes of hers through eBay. They do end up going for very high prices so be careful. Remember she offers great discounts on her website and I am sorry that I didn't buy them that way. WOuld have been less expensive in the long run. Another awesome total body tape is a new tape called 2102 Power Bar Training. I can't say enough about this tape. It is a must have for people who do strength work at home. It is made by CIA.
