Guest guest
Here's the email I just sent to Barton's opponent: Dear Mr. , I am the father of an autistic child and unfortunately live a little too far up the road (Southlake) to vote for you. However, I am sending a contribution to your campaign today and would also like for you to go to http://www.teamjackattack.com and take a look at the links at the top of the home page for: (i) the NBC 5 news segment featuring my wife and son opposite Joe Barton and also (ii) the YouTube video and pdf file recap of a meeting held last night at Barton's Arlington office that one of his constituents was denied entrance to. Barton's staff flatly lied to the constituent about the existence of a Senate version of the Combating Autism Act. Barton himself also apparently has a very short memory since he claims to have only recently heard of the Combating Autism Act when, in fact, the house version (H.R. 2421) was referred to the House Energy and Commerce committee he chairs in May 2005. I generally vote Republican, but Barton is a dishonest sleaze that needs to be sent packing. He's an embarrassment to the State of Texas, the Congress and the Republican Party. Thank you for your service to our country, and good luck on November 7th. K. Ursitti V. P. Finance - Assistant Controller Caremark Rx, Inc.
