Guest guest
Hi ...I think where it gets a little complicated for me is that Medicaid (which here is the Oregon Health Plan) HAS to manage your Medicare, every part of it. This is of course only for those on Medicaid, which means only the poor. So, they have decided that prescriptions can only be for 30 days at a time. The one exception is if you agree to have an out of state rx by mail service...then you can get 90 days at a time. However, I have heard varying degrees of pleasure/displeasure with that service, and makes it complicated to get prescriptions you might not ordinarily get...like something for an immediate infection. I have considerate the rx by mail plan...may think it over again. Hugs... Tess Re: [ ] ~Medicare Part D & SS Assistance Hi Tess, Is the Medicare Part D Prescription coverage different in each state? Do you have an HMO that you have assigned your coverage over to? My HMO does allow for a 90 day med supply. I wonder why it is different where you live than where I Live. I live in California. Take care, Love Grammi B <grammi_love@...> wrote: Hi ...my dr's have tried the 90 day thing but it won't fly with our system. Thank you for caring, . Love...
