A little research for my family

Hi Everyone,

First, thank you to everyone who wrote in about my Mom's finger the other

day. She had the tendon problem from osteoarth. that was mentioned. They are

trying cort. shots and if that doesn't work will do the minor surgery.

This is to help my brother. Some of you know that in the summer of 1999 he

woke up and had literally lost about 50% or more of his hearing. They put

him through alot of test, mostly MRI's etc. to rule out acoustic tumors.

I did a little research at the time and thought there was at least a

possibility that he had some weird autoimmune thing going on.

My brother is going to see a specialist in autoimmune hearing loss (finally-

after all of these years) and he wants a listing of all of the family

autoimmune illnesses that we have going on- and we have quite a few.

My question is this: Do any of you have family-whether it is immediate

family or cousins etc. that have any type of hearing loss or disease.
