Thank you all for making me feel so welcome. I am on my countdown week to my

banding

at the moment.

I read so much about the preop optifast stage and the headaches and cravings

that I

decided to merge it in slowly over the last couple weeks. I replaced 1 then 2

meals a day

and have lost around 5 kilos over a couple of weeks. As of today I am on 3

optifast a day

and a cup of veggies .... and to be honest I struggle more with the veggies than

the

Optifast.

I have never been a healthy eater and veggies did not make up part of my intake

so I am

learning to eat them now.

I am getting very nervous and starting that old questioning thing, thinking

maybe I could

just try harder and lose the weight again but stick to it this time ...... but

then I know I

have done this a dozen times only to come back heavier.

Does anybody have any soup recipes for week 1-2 banded (the thin sort).

Sorry I did not get to Ashfield last night as I had not logged on in time to

hear about it.
