Guest guest
My 14 yr old daughter with severe OCD had blood tests done and read by Dr. Triflletti last Jan. She tested negative for strep and immune issues so was not diagnosed 'Pandas'. She is not responding to any psych meds and we have tried 5 different ones. She was diagnosed with Lyme's last year and treated with antibiotic and OCD improved. Is there anyone whose child tested negative for Pandas but was treated with antibiotics anyway that helped OCD? My daughter also has random rashes on her legs that look like many mosquito bites and her Pediatrician diagnosed as vasculitis. I recently read that vasculitis can cross the blood brain barrier and cause brain inflammation and I think this could be related to her OCD. Does anyone else's OCD children ever get rashes like this (they don't blanch like a regular bite when you run your finger over them and they go from red to purple before disappearing)?
