I know if I have a lot of coughing, productive or not, my doctor has

me call her up and get a prescription for Tylenol with codeine. I

have had three different doctors tell me that NONE of the over the

counter remedies are good enough for someone at risk for asthma. They

just can't have enough active ingredients (i.e. codeine) to really

soothe a cough response. I would suggest talking to your doctor and

see about something prescription strength. Just my two cents.
