Guest guest
---hi karen quite a story i dont know about explaining it to you when you have not been properly diagnosed .. even if you have been properly diagnosed i fel safe in recomending a few things to you --these are the things i would do. always spiritual/reiki healing always look at nutrition very carefully ensure you are getting what you need massage - attention to all your elimination channels then some way of determining that your glands are operating properly . then we can look at spiritual psychological aspects too --that you are deriving enough from your enviroment , work , and the right kind of people around you. you say blood tests been done which ones there are so many all these are massive factors in our make up. and my full sympathies go to you patients should not have to do their own research when theya re so unwell it is ridiculous. but most concerning of all you said my labs are good so all they do is give me paxil or > zoloft or something like that. which brings me to a good point you must sureely appreciate their are good doctors and very poor ones . the best doctors reccomend these kind of things i did say best . karma therpay spiritual/reiki healing attention to nutrition massage considertion of psychological/spiritual aspects consideration of attitudes attention to elimination channels i could go on and on here ..but what you do find that good doctors do not just recomend drugs . its finding the good ones that are the problem. now only read on if you want to learn what is going on --and do remenber some of the people i mention next i am persopnaly aqainted wi There are quite a few points to consider one of which is why if this is so good as you say why are we not being told about it. Why indeed? Well I am going to tell you about something that maybe less than 1% of the population even understand. The answer –vested interest and quite a bit of apathy and scientific arrogance. There are a few very important points that I would like to cover on the subject of drugs and research and treatment At present the system in England is this, all treatment recommended by the NHS should be tested and approved and quite rightly so. Obviously it costs vast sums of money to test and approve treatments because of the possible damage to people and the subsequent litigation costing millions of pounds. The point is this Where does this money come from to test and approve treatments? By far the biggest source is the drug companies. So take for example a researcher might go along to his local drug company and tell them his findings about this treatment he has been working on which is of outstanding value but needs testing further or approving, you might think they would be falling over themselves to know more –right, you could not be more wrong. By and large only treatments, which show the promise of good deal of a profit, will even get examined. Because they are in business to make a profit, not for serving the people. So many of the thousands of therapies which they see as having no profit potential do not get approved and thus by and large do not get recommended by your local doctor or hospital. Despite The fact that some of them do have overwhelming benefits some, which have saved needless operations, needless amputations, needless pain and trauma, needless kidney failures and much loss of life. This will apply to any country where most research is being done by drug companies – they would probably laugh in your face if you went there with a promising therapy which was so cheap anyone could get it. Do you really think they would invest thousands of pounds in any therapy which did not show the promise of good profit. Your local G.P/ doctor is not a researcher, do you clearly understand that in the main he is told…………… what to prescribe …………. he does not even have the time often to look at research. In fact some G.P .s doctors have had action taken against them for prescribing simple supplements. They are in a difficult position in a way many would like to prescribe many different therapies but many feel they cannot for action could be taken against them. This does not help you does it though. At this minute 2004 approx 5000 Beds are being taken up by people in the UK who have had adverse reactions to drugs. Some will die others will be maimed .A serious amount of suffering is taking place on a scale that makes some wars look like a minor infringement. That is a fact So Mr/Mrs patient in 99% of the time because of this system you will probably only get recommended drugs. Primarily because of deliberate government policy not to fund research into other therapies. Have you heard your local doctor recommend, Massage, Spiritual healing, Knieisiology Herbs, Light therapy, Colour therapy, Regression therapy, Osteopathy, Zappers, Magnetic devices, Electrical Frequency devices.has he mentioned detoxing , reiki, massage, colonics, enemas, sweat baths , accupuncture, tai chi, yoga, hypnosis.not to mention castor oil packs epsum salt packs etc etc. Has he ever mentioned the power of nutrition what you eat how much protein, carbo, vitamins, water you take in etc. Has he ever recommended a detox .. All of these have shown their inherent worth with thousands if not millions of testimonials. As you can see this system in its present state is inherently flawed, that is Until the day comes when most of the research and testing is done by an agency with no vested interests attached and a very clear agenda of being objective. Acting for the people. Printing and revealing all results good and bad. What also clouds the issue further is the fact that some of these drugs work well but that is not to say that there isn't something more natural better. Moving on to a more positive note .One of the biggest problems we see when giving this material is that a lot of people do not have good evaluation skills. They rely on a white coat, a hospital building, the sound of a persons voice to sway their thinking into accepting treatments when they are ill. Like lambs they are taken down paths some of which will lead them into untold suffering . Of course this is what some of these drug companies rely on the vast sums of money which can be generated are enormous. So as the wise among you will see a little investment in time over your health could be a very wise move indeed. Well we move now along to our little protocol the principles of which will apply to many other health problems as well. best for now phil
Guest guest
The only ones I have seen that recommend what you are saying on the more natural based level of healing is my local holistic doctor.. But I am more for the full body healing without drugs if I can do it that way.. I just hope all that is going on is a vitamin imbalance due to not eating right and being under a great deal of stress.. But I have been taking some mineral drops and every time I take them I get so tired and very hungry and then I eat and sleep like all day off and on and start feeling a little better.. But I just hope I am getting better and healing takes more time than GP docs pills they keep pushing.. Thank you for the information.. I am going to try and follow all this information and get as more information as I can on the topics cause I wanna get better as soon as I can. Have a wonderful night... Guest guest
Well I have had a full hormonal panel ran and I do have so elevated levels like testosterone ACTH and prolactin. They said I had PCOS because of that. Then they said they ran a thyroid panel and it was normal, my CBC was normal I am not pregnant and all my normal chemicals are all normal as well .. they checked my reflexes and said I am okay from what they can tell but they did not run a CT or a MRI. So I guess all I can do is take their word for it and work on healing my mind body and spirit and go from there.. Do you feel that getting you body back in balance you can heal almost anything that goes wrong with the body?
Guest guest
Hi , You stated that you had " some " blood tests done and have not been diagnosed yet. Those blood tests you mentioned could be anything to nothing and what I would tell you to do is to go to a " indocrinologist " . He will order a battery of tests based on your physical signs upon examination. Mine was very detailed lists of tests and I requested a copy of those results also in the event I wanted to take with me to another doctor or do some research myself. I too had thought this was my problem prior to being diagnosed and suffered for 2 yrs until they figured it out. You need to start there I think. That way, if you dont have ME/CFS/Fibro, he can tell you what you do have. Hope this helps you. /Dutchie > > Hello my name is and I am 27 and new to the list. Guest guest
, It sounds like you have alot of symptoms that match. You need to keep trying dr's until you get someone who will listen. Have you had your thyroid tested? What city are you in? Maybe someone here can recommend a dr in your area. Good luck and God Bless, , Sacramento, Calif. --------------------------------- Want to be your own boss? Learn how on Yahoo! Small Business. Guest guest
Well I just went to another doctor today and he listens. He said that my thyroid was functions at almost nowhere where it needed to be and I was just really off balance. Other doctors said it was okay. But once this doctor put me on a trace mineral drops. It was like my body kicked back into where it needed to be and I have improved so much in just a few days. But as of today he said my thyroid is going at about 30% so he is still working with me and since no other doctor would listen and he would and I am getting closer to feeling better everyday since I started the treatment he gave me I think I have found a really good doctor that not only listened but is making me feel better after months of feeling really bad.. I just happy to be feeling better.. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi , I know those drugs you came off of,and what you describe isn't at all normal. There are some particular symptoms with CFS/ME/Fibro, however. what you are going to need is to locate a doctor in the area in which you live who can do a physical for you and run bloodwork, etc. Swollen lymph nodes are a symptom, as are 'different' sleep patterns, tiredness, weakness (as you mentioned), headaches which are different or more frequent than they had been before. As I recall when I first joined this group I did get an email stating I was now a member but there was in the email alot of good informetion on this illness. It would not be surprising if the diagnosis was missed so far; for me it took a long time before I found someone who KNEW what to look for and how to treat it. Welcome to the group, good luck, and i amsure you'll get other reoplies as well. Jane > > Hello my name is and I am 27 and new to the list. Guest guest
Hi , welcome. For years my thyroid blood tests (tsh) came back normal. I finally insisted on a thyroid scan and sure enough I had 2 tumors on left side and one on the right. Now I have to have it out in a few weeks. So please don't go by those normal Tsh tests. If anyone feels there is a problem with swallowing, losing voice. The way I supected was by putting a finger on each side of the thyroid (base of throat) and swallowing and I could feel the right tumor because it was an inch in diameter, please insist on thyroid scan....
