Looks like you are going down nicely with all those inches off the

waist! I bet your belt notices the difference. That is where I can

always tell it.

Thanks, Amy. Unfortunately, there was a dead battery in the camera, so the

pic extravaganza is out until I replace it. And... I don't know if I'm

brave enough to post my pics yet... may have to wait for a few more inches

to come off. I guess it depends on how I look in this batch when I take

them.

My belt is definitely noticing the difference... but not the four inches.

Maybe I need to rename my measurements. My " waist " measurement is the

largest part of my gut/stomach, and my hip measurement is where I wear my

pants. Often, us really big guys have a tendency to wear our pants lower,

underneath our gut, kinda of riding on our hips. So, that means my belt has

noticed the 2.75 " loss in my " hips " , not the 4 " loss in my waist. Is there

a better name for those measurements?

Thanks . Congrats on 3 weeks... those were the three toughest weeks

for me!

Let's hope the remaining portions of our challenges go just as well!

Thanks, Jeanne! I hope they do. If not, that camera and I are going to be

having quite a discussion! (as I toss it out the window!)

The names you indicated sound good to me. I count my waist

measurement at the point around my belly button and my hips at the

widest part below that.

My actual pant size may not be the same has my actual waist, but it

is close. Pre-BFL my waist measurement was much bigger than the

pants I was wearing so I understand what you are saying.
