Guest guest
Janick, Now we did not forget you! I'm glad you can start exercising again. Sorry that your haivng to go through all this crap though. I hate medical tests, especially inconclusive medical tests, don't you? Do you have access to a heated pool? Swimming can be a great no impact exercise. Then you can go and jump in a hot tub immediatly afterwards. Keep us updated!!! Hugs, << Maybe you all forgot about me, but I'm still alive. Feeling a bit better actually... My thyroid gland medication is already helping a bit with the fatigue and depression part. My face has started swelling down a bit, as well as my legs. I have a little bit more energy than I did a few weeks ago, and the hoarseness of my voice is slowly disappearing. As far as my arthritis problem, well it is 95% better now (and I even stopped taking the anti-inflammatory drugs). However, I have lost some function (for which the rhumatologist cannot say of my left wrist which is still a little swollen and stiff. I seem to have a bursitis also in my right shoulder. My middle and fourth fingers of my right hand are still a little swollen, enough so that I cannot wear my rings anymore. My knees and ankles are also stiff, especially in the morning and also in the evening. The rhumatologist is still suspicious that this could be a beginning of rheumatoid arthritis, and that time (and results of blood work) will tell. Meanwhile, I can start excercising again when I have the physical strength to do so, but this exercise has to be mild and not be a strain on my joints. I guess that means that taebo is out of the question, at least for now... Well that's it for me, hope everyone is having a great week Janick who's seeing the world on a brighter side now As Deb has said: " Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step. If you do a workout in 1/2 or even 1/4 time and concentrate on contracting and stretching your muscles, it will be strength training as well as stretching Barb who prefers to do Tae-Bo at half time and concentrating on the muscles and form

I guess that the best thing for me would be the taebo gold tape. What do you think?? Janick who's now only working one job (but full time instead of 2 part time jobs), and who hopes that this stability will help her in finally finding a routine

Won't have time (literally) to workout until this weekend though. I still can't manage sleeping under 9 hours a night, so my spare time is extremely limited!!
