Guest guest
, take a deep breath and reread you subject heading. The reality -- which is frustrating - is that you will probably miss two days of working out. I know how much you love to work out. Taking two days off is a bummer. You will survive it, though. Maybe you will even be reenergized from the break? Deal with the medical problems tomorrow when you see your doctor. It's natural to relive past nightmarish experiences. Tomorrow, if that comes about, you will get through it. But in the meantime, try to take your mind off it. Take one of your famous baths! Elena, who hopes gets reassuring news at the doctor's office Thanks Elena, I took a walk and then a bath. I'm not so concerned about missing the working out as I am of going through all of that AGAIN. I woke up feeling like I was choking the other night and started coughing and sneezing like a mad women, so thats probably where the bloody nose came from. I'm just over analyzing and over worrying about all the little things right now because some of those symptoms that got me in the hospitol have started to return. Whenever anything upsets me these days I deal with it by working out, when I can't work out I have no idea how to deal with it. I just needed to vent since is not here to vent to and if I call my parents they will over-worry more than I will. :-) Sorry to overreact :-O I'm sure its nothing more than my fear getting the best of me. Who will follow her own advice, so some deep stretches and take another long hot bath this evening.
Guest guest
Ann Marie, I actually try not to run the heat since we are on a limited budget while I am not working. I have a prescription for a steriod nose spray which I have been using. I think it was my coughin, sneezing fit the other night that did it. Just coupled with my headache and dizziness it has not been fun. Its getting better now. Since we are on the topic of noses...I thought I'd quickly share my broken nose story. When I was in third grade I has the hugest crush on my teacher. I use to bat my eyes at him and try to be the teachers pet. When we had a rollerskating party for our class I tried to show off by skating pretty fast. Well I ended up falling right in front of him. Thats not how I broke my nose though. While I was still on the ground, my teacher skated up and couldn't swerve to avoid me. He ended up running over my nose. He spent the rest of the day holding my nose and he always paid attention to me after that. Boy did my face look awful! << , Have you tried a saline nasal mist? Usually when the weather outside is cold and we have to crank the heat, it tends to dry out your nasal passages which can cause a bloody nose. Hope you're feeling better soon. Its not so much that I am scared of the getting out of shape part. Its the putting my life on hold part and taking those damm tests that scare me and cost a bunch of dinero. > , take a deep breath and reread you subject heading. Please don't stress too much about it. We tend to expect the worse, usually without just cause. It's a really great time of the year for feeling yucky. I hope you feel better soon. Don't beat yourself up about having a light workout week. Afterall, a little goes a long way... and being healthy is more of a mind thing. Your mind is definitely in the right place. Hang in there, and continue to let us know how you're doing. Jenni

Guest guest
Probably no time to workout without disturbing the neighbors. > Ack! Just had to vent. :-( > , Try not to panic. I know how much you like to workout, but it sounds like your body needs the rest! Let us know how it goes at the doctor tomorrow!
Guest guest
, I know what you mean about the medical history part. After 5 car accidents and 2 work incidents, I finally put them all on the computer with a list of the treatments and each doctors' diagnosis. So now when I go in for an appt. I don't confuse them with too much info at once. Plus I get nervous and ramble from one incident to the other. I also use working out as a stress reliever. And I'm lucky that I have my fur-kids. They are always the best listeners and always seem to agree with me <VBG>. Now that I've found this list though, I've found it to be a great source of support also. Another thing I do to relax is turn out all the lights and just use candles. For some reason, it helps put me into a more relaxed mood. Good luck to you!! Guest guest
, If you're on a prescription nasal spray, they also can cause nosebleeds. I have used Flonase, Aestelin, etc. and if I use them every day, I end up with nosebleeds as well. I found that if I used them every other day, I didn't get a nosebleed from it. Ouch!!! That must've been awful to have your nose run over!! In fact, I actually got a perforated septum from years (10 years) of steroid sprays. They are heavy duty medicine. Elena
Guest guest
, I sure hope your doctor visit goes well and you can get back on track. Until then take care of yourself!!! Darcy > Its been getting warmer little bit by litte bit and I thought I would try out my new running shoes today. But (and not gross you out) I have had a bloody nose, headaches and dizziness for the last two days and my chest is hurting again (I possibly pulled that same muscle, not sure) I worked out yesterday but lightly, today as it stands, it is out of the question. Tommorow (Stellar timing) I have a doctor's appointment. But since my husband is out in the field it will be an all day affair of me figuring out the bus system to get down there and back.
